Re: My 360 GLT... slowly getting there... lol!

Here is a photo of the turbo engine pipe. It wrapped around the steering columm and then went into the centre under the torque tube with flanged fittings. it is ceramic coated.

Hi there. If you go ahead with the turbo conversion i have a turbo engine pipe to suit a 360. It wraps around the steering shaft nicely and is ceramic coated. I will see if i hve a picture somewhere.

360turbo gone to God

This is the last you will see of my 360. in five years I have had three engines (b200, b23e, b230ft) Two diffs , many tyres and three different injection systems. I have done almost a hundred thousand kms. I decided i would move on to a 244. I always worried about the weak driveline in the 360. Ihav...

With the standard manifold i have about an inch of clearance and the turbo sit just over the rail. no intercooler. I was going to fit a skyline intercooler on the lh side near the battery but never got around to it. The red bit near the turbo is the top part of the engine mount bracket. It's a bit r...

I have put in a 740 turbo engine. I changed the sump, oil pump I wired in the complete 740 ignition system and injection system (in Aust . we got the LH 2.2).I put in a lightend 240 flat flywheel. I made my own engine pipe and had it ceramic coated to keep the heat off the master cylinder. At the mo...

The engine is in. The engine pipe that i made has been ceramic coated so hopefully it won't cook the master cylinder. I am not running an intercooler yet (very soon.) I put a 240 flat lightened flywheel in with a clutch from an Astra 2ltr. engine. It is slightly thicker so it put the diaphragm past ...

Thank a lot for that. Iam going to take the chance. The engine swap is going to start this weekend. I made up a right hand engine mount bracket using a rh 240 rubber mount. I am going to fit a standard skyline intercooler. It looks small compared to the 740 intercoolers. but there isn't much room so...

I sent the stock cams to the regrinder and he checked the profiles. They are very mild and will work against the turbo when on full boost. Cat Cams advertise turbo cams that will run with standard lifters, so it would nice to be able to get a price before we spend too much money on rebuilding the st...

b234 turbo cams.

Help: I am trying to find some turbo camshafts for a b230ft with a 16v head. I have been sending messages to catcams in US. and Canada but i haven't even received any replies at all. In Australia the only things i can get are built up and reground to something the cam grinder thinks that would be o....

turbo oil pump

I am fitting a 740 turbo engine my 360. I have hit a small snag the oil pump gears on the turbo engine are longer to give a greater flow. If i put the 360 top on the pump the sunp won't fit. If anyone has come across this and can help it would be greatly appreciated. thanks :?:
