it could be just because the carb is absorbing air from somewhere else than it should?????? last spring i refited the carb on the engine and maybe that's when it happened.....I was having problem with steep slopes before but not every time......like i do now...if that's not it what else can it be ...

i've identified the problem.the original hose came with a splitter (that my car didn't have)one end goes to the carb,one tho the air filter,one to the oil separator.(i thought the conection to the filter was in the carb,that was before i saw the original conection on other 340 dl
