im not going to try to justify what i did to my 340 but as has been pointed out each to there own
(plus im trying to get out of changing a particulary nasty nappy lol)

I never actually set out to modify my 340 ....totally the oposite really i bought the car to stop my modifying cos there was ...

i miss my volvo 340 i realy miss being able to tinker with a car my cavs all engine management :? and you cant alter a thing ...

i never got a nod ...... but got plenty of hand gestures ...they seemed to wave with there knuckles a lot

any way today at about 7ish there was a real beauty of a 300 folowing behind me from chesterfield it turned off towards sutton scarsdale
is it anybodys on here it looked like it had just rolled off the factory floor absolutly ...

umm mounted in the same place as mine was relocated to

ive owned in this order

a 1986 metro mafair 1.1 in a loverly beige colour
a 1990 ford orion 1.6 in radient red
a 1988 ford escort (donor car for above)
a 1989 austin metro 1.3 city x in brown !!!
a 1988 renault 5 campus red
a 1978 ford fiesta mk1 with just 28000 miles on it (payed £90 i was ...

yeah ive still got the cav ... mot soon should be ok wish id kept the volvo though would give me somthing to repair and tinker with at the week end i hate having a reliable car :evil:

im not struck on a computer controling most of my engine functions :lol:

ahhhh i miss my volvo (well i miss the heater and the heated seats )

umm my first job when i left school was stripping down and repairing starter motors and alternators ....although its 9years scince i looked at one lol
the bushes tend to were out .....alternativly it could well be rusty inners .....in the long run its better to just get another unit from somwere ...

the problem with the leads could be due to temperature under the bonet

i had this exact problem for a while ...but cant rember how i fixed it

is the car getting to tempurature as fast as it normaly does ?
