Hi there, I keep an eye on the volvo (34*, 36*) on ebay all the time and keep seeing 340s listed with "S/R" in the description. In this instance what does S/R stand for?
And my apologies if this is a very stupid question.

Passing an MOT is one thing - I'd be scared senseless trying to pass a speed camera without a speedo cable. Or when a police car happens to be hind you.

Did you guys drive around for long like this?

Crikey, I'm dopey. I too read this as pre-2001 and had even got it into my head that J-reg cars were 2001 rather than 1991. I'm getting old, even now 1991 seems like 7 years ago, not 17!
