jtbo, that makes sense. I would have thought about 1-2 minutes of slow (20mph) driving down residential streets and then find a parking space would have the same effect after a long trip?

It's dire at tick over. Sounds like a proper tractor. No questions this is a diesel! Sounds fine when rev'ed or on the move.

Veg oil works out far cheaper at 56p a litre. This should run on atleast 90% with little to no modifications. It's just had new glow plugs so it should love the stuff. :D

Those tyre pressures sound about right. I used to run them around that for spirited road driving.
