Very doable but you may have to use the 340 mounts for the gearbox and get creative with the mounting holes for the engine brackets. I'm not 100% sure if the redblock fits under the standard Mk1 bonnet, you may need a GLS/DLS bonnet.

Looks a bit different to the norm...! How much of the 343 does it use? Still got the rear mounted box/alloy prop/Renault 1.4?

Unfortunately that's quite common with the factory metal tilt/slide sunroof - it'll likely be the cables at fault (which are no longer available). There are some plastic blocks crimped to them which break/fatigue. I'd be tempted to leave it shut!

I moved the GLS on a couple of years ago - new owner loves it and is in use regularly. So it would leave me 300-less for the first time in about 15 years! But there's potentially other itches I'd like to scratch and I may have less space to store it in future...

I don't think I've seen inner rear sill panels before, usually these will need to be fabricated - but they tend to only need fairly localised repair and don't need to be that pretty!
