On further investigation and a word to my Dad I feel there might have been some confusion on our Seals. The problem is not the Sills but the lower cylinder seals in the actual engine. What is the head gaskett was renewed but the lower 'seals' had but dislodged in the process meaning while I was ...

My beloved F Reg 340 has died with the cause being the lower seals. This car has recently had the following.
New Water Pump
3 New Tyres
New Starter Motor
New Head Gaskett
New Air Filter and Oil Filter

And a few others
