You are right, but still annoying if there is oil in the coolant. There shouldnt be. Is there a way of telling if its oil or normal? I have got a saab 95 -02 also, i have to take a look tomorow if its the same in there...

Yes i know, but as you can see im a real n00b when it comes to cars, so i cant tell whats normal and whats not. I have done a few search regarding glycol and oil, and all i have found is that the glycol in the coolant filler tank should be perfectly clear (blue, red or orange)

No i mean the tank (sorry about my bad english!) where u fill oil, if u open the lid, and have the engine running, there shouldnt be any oil drops coming up from it. Thats what i have on my car , not much, just some drops.

I asked a friend to take a look under the car, reading the inspection papers, there never been any complaints about rust during the years. Lets hope it will last.

Yes, its true, making it look nicer just spraying with paint over the rust wont help. I will have to repair the brakes soon, so i could ask them to take a look at the rust also. Might be expensive though.
