Hallo HellaBroke. I have a cable for the 1.4l, and I live in Swiss. On my old volvo 340 I had also some problem, so I change it with a new one (buyed by volvo Yverdon in Swiss). So this cable have 20'000km but is "als neu". I kept the original packaging. My 340 was older than yours , so please check...
