I live in the southwesternern part of Finland (Turku, which is one of the warmest places in this
country). Temparatures between +5 and -20 celcius are normal during winter. And indeed,
that's me leaning on the drivers door.
The paint is a story itself but it goes well ...

No 360's left the factory with turbo engine. In Finland Volvo
offered a 360 GLT with dealer fitted turbo, though.

Some early 340's were equipped with the B19 engine. Have seen a few around here in
Finland.
But since -85 model markings should be consistent (340 = 1.4/1.7, 360=2.0).
Also, a few 340's that have a 360's engine, brakes etc. are known to exist. These vehicles
are build by hobbyists, though.

The assembly is something like this, though (most likely):
Incoming fuel line FROM tank --> Gas pump
Gas pump connects with the middle hook-up at the gas regulator
Lowest hook-up (gas reg.) connects to ...

Finnish people are OK. Originating from Germany, I think that
they could be a little more open, though.
Here's a little background information why cars are such a tabu in Finland:

Here are a few scans from my -87 360 manual... just in case you were wondering which
gadget goes where and what was standard (pretty hard to figure if you can't read finnish,
though :D ). But as they say: a picture can tell more than a thousand words.
It seems that AC was so rare they couldn't ...

As you may have noticed, Volvo offered some great electric equipment like PW and PM for
the 300-series.
But then, only a fraction of 360's produced were fitted with these extras...
Well, it seems that Volvo used the 300 control panel for number of models (850, 9xx etc.)...
Wouldn't it ...

Duverl78 is right, the gas tanks between 340's and 360's are
completely different.
To be a little more exact: the 340 gastank takes up the space reserved for the spare (which of
course is located under the hood) whereas the 360 tank is placed partly over the gearbox and
rear differential (spare ...
