Thank you all for your answers! But, as I said previously, the biggest issue here is actually the broken aircon radiator, (the one that sits next to the engine radiator, right?), other bits and pieces should be fine, I guess, as they weren't involved in a crash, and sustained no damage. That's why I...

Hm, that sounds discouraging-It's been about 5 years now since it's been broken...

That's true, haven't seen any 360 with the aircon here, either...And of all the people, it had to be me who was stupid enough to break it! :x You're right, it's an '86 car...I do know a bloke who has a Volvo and Saab scrap yard, so I might as well go and inquire one of these days. Or, maybe there's ...

aircon repair

Couple of years ago, I've had my 360 GLE involved in a crash, which damaged the front end. As the expense of a repair was quite high, I decided to leave the aircon cooler (or the radiator, as we call it here) unrepaired, and have had no aircon ever since. As summers are getting seemingly hotter ever...

Thanks, mate! Well, in that case, I might just go ahead and have a look around to see what's on offer...I'm a bit reluctant, though, bacause I want to make sure to buy exactly what I need, to avoid dissappointment if opening the pack and realizing that it does not fit!

Thanks for the answer! So, basically, what you're suggesting is that I shouldn't pay more than, say, £100 for the new kit, which is still half the price these guys over here are asking? Giving away another 100 just to get it delivered here seems like a rip off at best...

New clutch kit-where to buy?

Any tips on buying new clutch kit? I had a clutch cable on my '86 2.0 360 GLE replaced recently, but I was also recommended to have the whole kit replaced too, because that's apparently what eventually caused the cable to brake, due to too much tension. I contacted a few suppliers here in Croatia, a...

That's what I thought, too. Selling a car like that would probably make life more complicated for buyer, rather than for myself, all I'd need to do here is to un-register it with the police department, so it's no longer within the system, but I think a buyer would have to go through much more bureau...

selling cars outside their country

Before I start considering such a thing, I must ask you for your opinion-how likely am I to sell a car outside my country? I have a '86 360 GLE B200E engine 2.0 85kW, with approx. 180 000 km on the clock. First registration was in 1990, after which it has been imported to Croatia. The reason I'm thi...

heating failure

Hi all! Happy New Year to everyone! It didn’t start very well for my ’86 360 GLE, though; the other day, I turned the engine, and after a while, noticed I have no heating anymore! Luckily, the winter has been very mild so far, but the idea of having no heating doesn’t bring a smile to my face! The f...

Thanx guys, your quickness is amazing  Yes, I was convinced that they fumbled about it, because when I left the car, the stalk was ok and working! I did tow and leave the car overnight in front of their yard, and left the keys to the car in the ashtray, so that I don't have to go there towing e...

fuel pump relay location

Where is it located on an '86 360 GLE 2.0? Is it behind the dashboard? Cause, I had mine replaced the other day, and when I came back to pick up the car, I saw the indicator stalk had been broken?! The guys at the garage swored they had nothing to do with that...didn't want to pay for the ne...

Thank you all for your answers! However, does that mean that other econometers (i.e. on other cars) are equally unreliable? If so, I'm beginning to wonder what's their practical use, apart from being able to distinguish between "economical" and "uneconomical" ride, or merely of being able to monitor...
