Hi guys, I'm moving next week and I'm having to get rid of my blue F reg 1989 340.... :( It runs well and has MOT and tax til December. BUT it is rusty (has had it's sills welded 3 or 4 years ago) and has a little bit of a coolant leak. I replaced the radiator (for a brand new one) a couple of years...

Hey guys, I really need some help with my 1988 340. Yesterday I hit a large pothole in Milton Keynes (there are a lot of them around!) there was a large thud and my tyre popped. I noticed when changing the tyre that the bottom of the front coil spring (the protector?) was bent, so I got it bent back...

That was the conclusion I'd come to as well... Very irritating! I've tried wd-40, still no movement though. It is like they have fitted the wrong sized thread in the radiator, surely they wouldn't have made that mistake though...?

The old switch won't fit in it either...

The switch fits fine in the old radiator...

Hi all, I've got myself a new radiator and thermal fan switch from ebay for my 1.4. I got to the point where I have the old one out and about to fit the new one, then tried to fit the new fan switch to the radiator without success (rookie mistake of taking it apart before trying them together I know...

I just got a 340 and it has a couple of random bits missing, I don't suppose you have a speaker cover for the drivers side or the inside square bit with Volvo form the center of the steering wheel?

Hi. I'm afraid it is a very long way, especially if you have only driven in the Newcastle area.
Would it be possible to get it transported at a reasonable cost? Does anyone know people who transport cars economically? Help!

The car is what I'm looking for, but I won't be able to get up there to collect it before you leave.

Is there any possible way that you would have time to bring it down here before you do leave?

Thanks for the photos. Just a few more things, has the cam belt been replaced on it, and if so how long ago? Has it been kept in a garage or on the street? Is there a service history? And will it need much work doing to it for its next MOT? When do you need to sell it by? As I'm still on my provisio...
