PPC's all about tuning cars to go faster, nothing else necessary. It's gone a bit more 'mass appeal' now, but I remember them featuring a 400hp supercharged 306 GTi-6 that looked completely standard. That's what the mag's all about for me. I reckon if it ain't got a lot more power than standard, it'd draw some funny looks on a stand.
I'd actually rather keep my 16v 340 hidden away in the public car park, as it's probably only borderline acceptable (if I even have it running by then).

We'll just write T5 on everyone's bonnet and it'll be cool. SRSLY, I don't mean to be a knob, but it's all about cars with their jams pumped up, so if we get a stand it'd need to have at least 50% engine swaps on it. Joni can bring both of his 360s!

I seem to have dropped off the email update list. :( What's the latest? Kate @ PPC is asking for final numbers for the Tbricks stand...where are we at? I'll go in with them if needs be, but I'd rather rep V3M, y0...

...yes, with an engine swap :)

cheers

Another suggestion has just been raised on Turbobricks - that we all go on the same (i.e. Volvo) stand. Thoughts?

Yeah, sounds good. Not sure I'll have a fast car by then though :( I hope to certainly, but slow one if not?

How do you get tickets for this? Do you just e-mail that address in the link? I can't see a booking form anywhere. I don't think I'd be able to go on a stand. Megasquirt doesn't really count unless its to support another more fundamental mod IMO.

I think it depends on whether we have a club stand or not. Tbricks stand bookings are being made through Suterman. If we want a stand, someone probably ought to contact Kate.

I think Filthyjohn has it just about right. None of our cars, bar one or two notable exceptions really have all that many mods that would be acceptable to the PPC crowd. If the tbricks crowd are going then isn't it better a couple of us tag along with them? we can still do a v3m gathering at Joni's place beforehand, if you're still up for that mate.

3 hrs for me, if the logbook is swapped and I got me insurance then I may come up. I doubt it though. We'll have to see.
