www.bittorrent.com

the program there is a downloader for .torrent files - basically you save the .torrent, and the bittorrent program uses it to get an 'index' for the file it wants to download.

Depends on your connection...if you've got a fast link, give it a while and it'll get going. Anyway, THREADJACK :-P

Anyhow, thanks for coming guys! A great time was had by all. That's gotta be one of the best meets I've been to.

MJ....did you see me having fun with that Civic Type R? I got fed up with him sitting on my bumper, so I took on the VTEC y0...and won  Either those things have very little torque, or he wasn't trying *that* hard....seemed like he was though!

cheers

Maybe it was a case of badgetuning?
They have very little low end torque, untill the V-tec kicks in...

Anyway... KILL EM ALL!!!

I just checked the specs, and the two cars have exactly the same peak torque figure (145lb/ft), but at very different RPM points, resulting in very different peak power figures (bhp being a function of RPM).

It would seem that high rpm power makes less difference that you'd think. I doubt he was totally going hell for leather - but the point is that he didn't have enough power to overtake safely either. How many people would believe that - 138 vs 200bhp?!

Anyhow, threadjack over ;)

cheers

Haha...I just watched the video footage. Man that's funny. It's about 38 minutes of Andy and Pete getting increasingly pissed off because I keep overtaking things and spoiling their shots! Let's just say I now understand why people often use radios for such things...I was just trying to get to Hugh's quickly so we had plenty of time at the steam rally! sm63 Never mind, we know for next time!

cheers
