The idea mooted has been on the general forum, so how about a northern meet before the end of the summer?

Show the southern fairies how it's done! ;)

There's the 120 meet on sunday 18 Sept which I was planning to re-start the 300 rally, but due to Ted Brown being non-commital over it + some negative comments on here when I muted the idea, I decided against organising a formal competition. However, I'm sure there's plenty of room for those wanted to turn up for a casual meet & look at other Volvo models. It's being held at the Sculpture Park, Wakefield.

Any takers ?

Wakefield sounds good. I think we're supposed to be scattering granny's ashes that weekend (!) but hopefully that'll be on the Saturday.

I'm sure granny wouldn't mind (!), but auntie has her heart set on somewhere else.

Anyhow, it is the Sunday that we're bidding our fond farewells, so I won't be able to bring Rory up to Wakefield.

Cheers,

Gavin.

I'm umming and ahhing over that... I may go, depends on what I'm upto re. uni and stuff.. may go back for the freshers fair and associated freebies :D lasted for a good 3 weeks on freshrs freebies in my first year, asda had bags of goodies with stuff like noodles and beans in it.... i "somehow" ended up with three or five of them!
and a load of vouchers for free copies of the Sun... which is possibly the nations least newsy "news"paper.
