Woo-hoo, this is fun. Sorry Mick, what with all the mooses and my weekend-internet-allergy I've missed this. Only expected a quiet cup of tea and a chat with foggyjames and Stuntman.

Er, yes. I'm good for 12 March. Not so sure about a location? Gunthorpe is popular with the biking fraternity. It's a little village by the river with several pubs and a tea shop by a lock. However, it is probably half an hour from the M1. Also, the local chapter of the Volvo Moaners Club meet there, but not on a Sunday so we should be safe.

The National Watersports Centre has a large car park, but there's not a lot to do other than watersports. There's just a little tea shop.

Erm, if we did Hooters then it wouldn't be too far to walk into Nottingham afterwards if anyone fancied bowling or iceskating or something.

There's the multiplex on the ring road which I think still has a bowling alley next to it. Erm, the University has a nice boating lake, but I don't know if that would be open in March.

Will have a think of other places to propose. James? Andi? Any ideas?

Cheers,
Gavin.

Silly me

I've never been to either, but various people have recommended Volvo Valley in Ripley (Derbyshire) and Salvo (http://www.salvogroup.co.uk/salvosite.htm) to me.
