Right then, thought I'd start the ball rolling, as I am keen to visit this place. Dunno when would be a useful time, I'd say we need to give it a while as it wasn't that long ago we had one, but mid May to miss uni exams and stuff? Argue your case below ;)

Right, the place I like the look of is the Haynes Motor Museum. Firstly we can see if the museum lies as much as the book, but mainly they look to have a really sweet collection of motors there. There is also group booking rate (just over a fiver with more than 15 of us) and a hireable track. I have no idea how much it costs. Also they do random activities such as adual control car, i.e. 2 people, one on steering, one on accelerator and brake etc. All in all, sounds like it could be a sweet as day out.

All comments appreciated, but it seems easy enough for most to get to (ok, anyone too far north may have cause to complain) as it's on the end of the M5, and A303. Get involved ;)[/img]

It does indeed look like a cool place for a meet, and not too far for the 340 to travel ;)

Id say it'd be nice to wait a while for some good weather, sort of early summer time. As you say we don't want to interfere with uni exams, so what does everyone else think?

I'd probably be in for this place :)

Sounds like an interesting place to meet, provided it isn't related to the books description and difference between the written word and reality :D:D

Anyway, May sounds good to me, but not the last two weekends cos I'm away, but maybe 13th/14th May?

Sounding good to me...grumble..gruble southern meets. However, it does look like a good idea.

Mid may suits - not too soon, not too late...

Whats the average meet location so far... must still be midlands :P Northener!

And I'm with Vicky, can we have a Alton Towers (or... Thorpe Park supposed to have some decent stuff, seemingly Chessington has lost all the good rides now :() type day as well, although weekends will be a tad kid-ified

I knew that was coming :P

You know the car gets driven, just not very far ;) If only it could be garaged up over the winter and only taken out in the summer :P Oh, the worry of having a near mint 300 :(

Lol, I love the north south divide when we plan a meet ;) I've had to drive north for every meet so far ;)

Donnington was 200ish each way for me, and I know Vicky and Dai usually have a heck of a trek. The Brum crew have had on one there doorsteps, as have the MK and Bucks lot, and Ludlow. No where is ever going to be perfect, but I must admit, I was thinking they'd be a more east/west thing going on this time ;)

This time next year I'll (ok, this is just me here probably) be able to afford getting a hotel sorted so I can make silly north trips, so get thiking for some locations!

Well, I reckon, so as not to interfere with general uni stuff, and to fir in with the world above, 13-14th weekend, or 6-7th weekend in May. Any later, and we encroach exam revision, and that will push us back till July time.

Adam, I know you have college stuff, I'm sure there are some more college guys around, do these dates fit with revision/deadlines?

And I havn't picked some random bank holiday here that everyone is going to be busy on have I?
