Without looking into it on the net now, as I really should be in bed, where is it to, what does it involve, and does the car end up staying there to be auctioned etc? Mildly interested as it all seems like a good laugh these events.

The website makes it all look a bit Club 18-30, but it's a moderately serious car show, and the convoys are the stuff of legends/nightmares if you're local. I believe Husky goes every year.

Ah yes, been a bit of a tool there, I thought it was another of the Dakar, cheapo trip jobbies, charity rally things, but it's not, knew I'd heard the name before, but couldn't link the event, plus it's late! It sounded like we were heading to warmer climates....... oh well!

Run To The Sun is pretty VW dominated - but all cars are welcome, so I've heard. This is in my neck of the woods so will try to make it!
