Yeah, we do need to get a meet sorted, and a few games of bowling, then a bite to eat and a drive round sounds like a laugh. Of course the next issue is going to be the location! Somewhere fairly central for everyone, but we all know, the people from the furthest lying places are going to have to travel a long way.

If bowling continues to be the popular choice, and if there enough of us, then booking a couple of lanes for a few games is going to be the safest bet to avoid disappointment, as I know our local place can get pretty busy, even during the week, so at weekends when we're likely to have a meet, it's possible it'll be packed!

Ice skating could be a laugh, got dragged along recently, and finally mastered staying upright and not flailing about madly by the end!

Theme parks are good, but I think everyone will end up going seperate ways. Did anyone ever get any further with the go karting? That'd be an idea for another meet at some point. We don't have to ration the meets this year!

Ice skating!!!

Or theme park

Or beach (cos I can get some kiting in :P)

Karting is sorted, Thruxton, £25 quid, will have more details later. It'll be a straight arrive and drive, theres enough newbies to make that the most sensiblest option this time round.

Other thing I havn't done since I was mini is laser quest/quasar, is that still as fun as when you were 15?

damn right laser quest is a lot of fun, but karting would be waaaaaay better.

I went to a charity thing at Megabowl in Southampton last year - dress up as a pirate and get free bowling, free food and free quasar. had my reservations about quasar (or whatever it's called now) but I had a great time!! Showed how unfit I was though :(

Karting would be cool though, as I still havent tried it!

Karting as I said is £25... all we need to do is sort a date, and bookings can be sorted! Might have to go to Soton quasar now!
