Myself, Chris_C and Hugh (5LAB) are planning a mini-meet in Devon (probably in the Exeter area) over New Year. If you're about, feel free to post here and let us know! If you're Hugh....get in touch and let us know when you're about!

cheers

Think the only time that I have something planned for is Fri night, but I'll check with the accomodation (me girlfriend) as to what times would work!

Yay!! Working econ meter! Cheers both, so I've now met Foggy's mum, and Hughs mum aswell, and Nessy, but not Hugh ;) or any of his others! James has a few photos that I'm sure he'll be putting up (hint hint!)

quote from my mum

"they were very nice, and just like you. turned up when it was dark, picked the bits up, then fitted them on our drive, in the dark'

And it took us bloody ages! Chris had cut the pipe (probably on our instruction) the wrong side of the almost-hidden 'lump' (filter? one-way valve?) in the crankcase ventilation tube. However, we did a swap with the one from Nessy, and the job was done!

Nessy now has a silver car-cover over her, although she was pretty wet, so I get the feeling she's just rust quicker now! I'll pop back at some point on a dry day and leather off the water! Oh yeah...and she STINKS inside...and has wet seats...right Chris ;)

My Mum was impressed with Chris' parcel-shelf build, but when he'd gone she said something like 'die ricer scum, die' - with regard to his 4 LED washer jets. Just kidding! ;)

All in all, a fun afternoon. Pics...

Our cars outside my house...

Next door's gardener called in for about 10 seconds! Guess what he drives...

Yeah, well, they've been disconnected for quite a while now! I think James was impressed with the main beam though :D Thanks Nessy, for the new bit of pipe! Keep forgetting I need to look where I'm going though, not at the sexy econ meter! It glides!

I had a bad feeling the tarp might blow off....I did my best in the pitch darkness, but I had a niggling feeling it wouldn't stay. Do apologise to your mother!

Yes, the main-beam is indeed awesome...if only we could get the dipped beam to be just as powerful...!

cheers
