Poly Bushes

what grease can/can't you use on these things. I'm replacing the leaf spring one on my 360GLT.

I run mine dry but all purpose grease would probably be fine

Some poly bushes come with sachets of grease to use, I got some of mine from Superpro who did supply grease. Dai's bushes didn't come with grease, I sprayed a bit of WD40 on the parts before inserting the bushes that was it. Suspension bushes shouldn't really need grease and I wouldn't grease anything unless it either comes with grease or clearly specifies that they need it.

Its not important, tbh. Just use any thing you want. Poly bushes aren't affected by grease/oil so it won't matter. Its normal rubber bushes that you have to be careful of. No grease at all on these, the only lubricant you should use on standard rubber bushes is mild detergent and water.

I had a chat with a polybush company at the Autosport show. They say that using the grease is essential on the wishbone joints as the bushes do not flex like rubber ones, instead the polymer part should be greased so that it is free to spin on its insert.

Well at this point I'll come out of hiding and say I used some vaseline on my leafspring bushes. Seems to be very similar to the stuff that came with the wishbone bushes.

nope, vaseline is PH-neutral so it doesn't affect poly or rubber; it's fine.

^^^ if you're doing it right you don't need latex or vaseline.
