Yes, I realise the reading is irrelevant, but the type of output is important - ie: does it work via voltage level, or a waveform of variable frequency or duty cycle?

Yes, that would probably be easier, but more expensive and far too easy ;)

It opens the throttle using a bellows - similar to the recirculation flap. I'll take a pic of dads setup when I get around to it. Come to think of it...I might just raid his kit....sure he wont miss it ;)

I'm not sure the brackets, etc, exist to fit it to the carb, so this might all hvea to wait until I have the ET fitted.

they sell a cruise control unit that will apparently fit any car.

actually - another thought - if it runs off a constant voltage (which i presume it does) - why not run it off the rev gauge inputs? i mean, it wont work after you've changed gear, but thats not much of a prob really is it?? (ie, the cruise control works to constantly keep the revs the same, rather than the speed). would be interesting on a vario, hehe
