B200s (especially Es...the carb is just too small on a K) make good midrange torque for a 2.0, but don't rev. The flow is there in the head (unlike on a 2.3, where the head is a restriction virtually from stock), so it's a case of sorting out intake, exhaust, cam, and then getting the fuel and ignition maps right to make it run correctly.
Don't underestimate the last part...'tuning' is called tuning for a reason

My car made 90bhp before the carbs were set, and 140bhp afterwards...
A very nice and fairly affordable upgrade without going silly (like my setup) would be a B200K with a K cam and a Weber DGAS38 (or similar)...or a B200E on a K cam and MS.
