That's been my plan for many a year, but something more pressing always seemed to come along! Good work that man, it's a tight look.

Good work indeed! I also feel the Volvo grille needs the angular slash, one, to fill the grille a little and add something to the front of the car, and secondly to give people half a clue what sort of car it actually is, as most won't have a clue! Well done on the rear setup on a budget, looks sweet.

Looking good mate, just a quick question though in regards to the rear struut bar, did it make any noticable difference? i know in the past on my cars front strut bars have made big differences, but rears nothing noticable (that's not to say they weren't working) also I have read somewhere, i think it may have been on this forum, that the bolts on the tops of the shocks may not be quiet up to the job of taking the loads the strut bar puts on them, wether it's because they may fail or just because they will flex, making the strut bar useless, i'm not sure, and i think it was suggested to weld mounts onto the towers for a strut bar to bolt to, any thoughts?
Yeah i've put strut brace on the front and rear of the car but tbh I can't feel any difference, possibly due to the fact that my suspension is so damn stiff anyway! The front is attached properly to the turrets but the back as you say is attached to the damper tops. I've also heard that you shouldn't attach them to the damper tops, one reason I heard was that if in a crash one damper gets moved then it'll bend the other side but if the car gets into that condition then its going to be written off and not worth saving anyway! The only movement will be in the rubbers of the damper top mounts but this should be pretty small anyway once its all bolted down tight. You are probably better off welding a bar between the two arches instead but I didn't really want to make modifications to the car that I can't undo...
