how do you guys get them to fit?

using wobble bolts or are there proper 4x100 fitments??

there are 4 x 100 fitments. usually on ebay every now and then (where i've seen them). otherwise mini fitment is popular, 4 x 98. so wobble bolts for those.

i just emailed them and got a reply saying the stud pattern is 101.6 x 4

where do you get "wobble bolts" and are the safe to drift with? also my hubs at the moment have studs instead of bolts?

hmm, dunno where i got 4 x 98 from then

i've seen them loads, again, on ebay. usually 1mm - 2mm play in them. basically a normal wheel bolt, but instead of a fixed face, you have a ring that "self centres" on the lip of each hole on the wheel. I haven't used them myself, read up on them ages ago when looking some wheels for mine. I honestly couldnt say bout the drift thang, but i don't see why not, as theyre still wheel nuts, and can be as tight as normal ones.

just make sure you get the right size. not sure what size volvo ones are though, if your gonna go for some.

4x98 is Fiat, Alfa and a few others

Minis are indeed 101.6x4. eBay for wobble nuts mate. I have ran a set with Mini PCD wheels for well over a year now and I skid the car plently. No issues here.

I bought mine from this guy. He isn't expensive if you get two sets for the price of one.

As mentioned they come in various PCD and that includes bolt up 4x100

7x13?? the wheels i have at the moment are 9x13 and stick out slightly (i bought the car like it)

so wobble bolts are fine? how do you change the hubs from studs to bolts? just a case of undoing them and puttin bolts in i take it?

Wobblenuts ate a straight fit in 1.25 thread.

You don't swap the studs for bolts. Wobble bolts are for cars with wheel bolts. Wobble nuts are for ones with studs/nuts.

Maybe this will help:

Wobbly bolts/nuts have a 'floating' collar that seats on the wheel mating face. The collar is around 2-3mm oversized with respect to the shaft, giving it some freeplay.

This freeplay allows the bolt/nut face to seat on the mating face correctly if oversize PCD wheels are put on. The typical oversizing is 2mm. Eg: It allows you to put 100mm PCD wheels
on 98mm hub or vice versa.

They're fine for every day use.

If you're after some 7x13's I'll swap your alley cats for some polished Superlites if you like mate. Can't recall the offset, but they're bang on and look a treat.

the nuts will fit, the centre bit in the pic below is where the thread goes, the ring on the outside is the bit that moves, and self centres on the wheel rim depending on the size difference between your hub and the wheel rim.

If a car has wheel nuts then it has studs mate. They're what the threaded bar protruding from the hub is called.

IMO nuts/studs FTW. Bolts suck.

Ah i was thinking of the other way around if that makes sense . . . i thought the studs would be what you attched the wheel with, like what nuts do

and after a few cheeky drifts the tyres found a slightly raised drain cover....
