does anyone else think the small clock with the seconds hand looks tacky?? i do, which is why i removed it :) basically you can just pull the front off the clock, and pull the middle bit out. then prise the seconds hand away from the middle bit, and replace the middle bit. voila, you have a working, better looking clock :)

yup, although less noisily. i really like it better now. makes it easier to read the time quickly.

I hate the small clock close to the ashtray, sooo noisy sm38 and ugly lol

The normal clock (the big one) makes NO noise!

its because the big clock has no 'second' mechanism.

just put a loud stereo in -> problem solved :)

Hear the engine isn't a problem, especially the B200, I like the specific sound but when the engine isn't running I don't like the "tic tac", that clock is a toy! :wink:

perhaps you could replace the mechanism for the one out of the dash clock, or soundproof it with cotton wool or something?

I no how to make it quiter! Carefully remove it, remembering which wires go where! Then rest it on the ground face down, on tarmac, obviously with a piece of carpet between then! The once at this stage find the biggest hammer ever and tw*t the F out of it! LOL sounds like so much fun i may try it and let you see the aftermath!

Ha ha, excellent... That's what I did 1 week ago with the rocker arm cover (I don't know if it's the right word) of my b14 engine. I was soooo angry, such a bad quality, I screwed it a little bit too much and the result was dramatic: cover warped, the rocker arms hitting te cover... I was sooo furious, I did what you explained before buying a new one at the scrapyard lol

is that the main engine cover (where you put the oil in??) - if so we call it the 'crank case cover'
