Oh!!! Serbian economy seems to be improving :D
Just a note :
Next time if you buy Tigar, choose type "AMBASADOR"- we produce it under Micheline licence, and they're the best from Tigar that money can buy.. It's for all types of weather. These are good too.
Looks nice , but remove that card from the front wheel :)

You should see me driving . I have a long hair too, so i need to take out new ID card because of hair....i'll do it sooner or later :D

Oi Will your headlight wipers are missing lol ,

A haircut should give you at least another 5 mph top end and a second off of your 0-60 time.

seriously though the car is looking really good and in such a short space of time , well done

You can lower the rear easily by bolting a lowering block (metal block with holes for the bolts) between the leaf spring and driveshart tube things that connect to the leaf springs. You can make the block, or buy from Dai.

FOn the front you can cut a coil from the springs, but that's not really advised

There were some light wipers on the bay the other day, could still be there

Wheels look nice, but take the stickers off the tyres;)

Cheers

my dad said that when he was young and stupid lol he cut his front springs on his cortina and fitted lowering blocks but he says the springs werent strong enough and that they would pop out if the car was jacked up.

so solution was to buy uprated springs....and cut them lol

so the price is somthing like £25 for lowering blocks and £50 for springs
thats not bad will spings help handerling at all? and the fact that it is lower makes a difference?

heheh the stickers on the tyres were just for the photo and service history of couse as it is complete from new

you know it seams to accelerate very well didnt do a 0-60 or any thing and wasnt pressin my foot down hard but its a million times better than the renault 5 1.6 diesel which is the same engine only diesel.
its got a blocked up air filter too but this is only stayin till after mot then ill put my k&n piece of poo on, then ill work on my stright though exhaust system tweek carb and then maybe fuel inj, i belive this is the 90hp version the previsous owner said that it had a differnt cam which it came with from factory so if thats true its nice i sould see 105-110 hp which makes a reasonable power to wieght ratio over 100hp per tonne :D

by the way on my 2nd test drive a pug 206 tryed to over take me on the road and i accelerated and actualy got away(it was next to me )

i was doin 50mph then the next time i looked at speedo i was doing 80mph
it seamed like 1 second between looking i was shocked :o
i guess its the fact it doesent make any noise that i didnt know

I HERE BY SWEAR TO NEVER DRIVE A RENAULT 5.....DIESEL AGAIN!

Cheers

The front springs make a big difference to the road holding. Cornering is better and the car feels much more positive to steering. The rear bolks dont make much different but the car would look daft with the back up.

redline where did you get those redline stickers?

and dai lowering the car alters the center of gravity which helps cornering and stability  so not only will not lowering the back look daft it would be daft too i cant wait to get on a track and teach those GOLFS a thing or 2
but my licence wont allow me on track :(
my mum has booked my test in england so in few months i should be able to drive in 2 countrys and when i am 18 i can drive any where :P
i dont think i need lessons been there done that here in france?

i will definatly get to a meet when i have a british licence :D
till then i work and practise in my car :P in france.

Cheers

I had the stickers made up by the guy who did the V3M window stickers , unfortunately I have lost touch with him (I think he has moved ) they are copies of the redline magazine logoshe also did the bonnet stripes and wing stickers.

nice to see someone else with redline harness pads , I gave some to Gavin and left the rest with the car when I sold it .

I don't know if I dare mention it here but I have been told that the administrator of the mk2 dub club makes graphics and stickers so I could have a word.
Or you could try getting hold of Andy (stuntman ) on here as he do's graphics although he hasn't been around much lately

cheers i will look into it i really like the harness pads :D so i had to get them.

My car goes for mot tomorrow the 28th and i have done all the normal things before mot checks etc but i have a feeling it will fail on rear brakes every car we have has failed on rear brakes at least once and i couldent get one of the rear drums off to look at it :( but we will see what happens

its going to set me back 55euros for this and if it fails i will have to pay 30 for retest as this is the local place not are normal one that did 6 retests for free on the bmw 2002 becouse of rear brakes ofcouse
