hi

i have just put a 1.8 16v renault 19 engine in my old 1.4 340. It running bike carbs and no ecu.

i have used the old 1.4 condensor and coil but i do not know what else i need. I know that some how there needs to be a sensor to say when to fire but where is this - i know there is a sensor on the flywheel - is this it? How do i link this up to what i have at present.

Any help would be great - its so frustrating when its this close and its holding me back

THanks

S

If you are running cars them you just use the original renix unit and crank sensor. The senor is held on with two bolts to the bellhousing. The renault flywheel will work fine with it

If I remember rightly sps's car is an 82 340... which has a more traditional ignition setup rather than renix
