• What to look for when buying a 340?

Hi, im going to look at a 340 in the morning (saturday)

This will be the second 340 that i own, from my own car i already know to look around the rear jacking points and front valance. What else should i check around the car when i go to look at it to see if its a good'n.

Those posts I made were directed at 360's. 340's have carb issues which I have never taken much interest in. Might be worth a search or two to research common carb related problems to look out for.

didnt even get to look at the engine. drove from macclesfield to kent got there. he said it only had slight surface rust but my hand went straight through the sill.

all in all a pretty pointless 460mile trip
