i was messing around on the computer and my father was on "we buy any car " .com website so i thought i would type it in on a 1988 1.4 340 with 44000 on the clock. The thieving gits valued it a £50 who would ever sell there 300 for that money??? STUPID!!

To be honest i wouldn't expect anything different from these tw@tish companys. The advert does say from 50 quid to a hundred grand, so i pressume most cars are going to have a similar low value.
Bit like those "We'll buy your Gold" adverts, the people who use them must be mugs

a friend of mine did the one where you text it for a price for his 3door cosworth and it told him it was worth £1100!! there just a waste of time and iam surprised that they get any business at all.
you'd get more than £50 if you weighed in a car!!

sure they only buy them taxed too.
your better off cashing the tax and weighing it.
which is probably what they do.

That WeBuyAnyCar site is a con, as has been said
I quoted for my old 1994 Discovery Tdi ( which would have been worth a grand of anyones money ) and got 50quid, same for the old RangeRover, and for me old 1998 volvo S40.
I rather suspect the whole thing is a front for kneecap finance

i quite like them 2 months after I bought my 05reg MG ZR which I paid £3700 for I put the number plate into their website and they offered me £4200 which I thought was very strange but never took them up on it so I ran the car for a year wrote it off and my insurance company still gave me £4200
we buy any car are part of carcraft which are always vastly overpriced so their profit margins on watever they buy must be massive
