No worrys about the radio cassette. I hope you find what your looking for.
If your stuck for a clock adjusting tool thingy, i can lend you mine.
It just screws into the back of the clock and come down beneath the steering wheel.
Cheers Mark.

It's black, or _very_ dark grey ...S10NPH wrote:What colour is the parcel shelf in your red one? My car has a beige interior but a dark grey parcel shelf, and I wondered whether they ever supplied beige ones?

I'd go for rotations maybe Jani (of the speedo cable)? I *think?* MPH clocks have 0,900, kph have 0,562, maybe it's amount of rotations per 1 *insert chosen unit here*?jtbo wrote:What is that r0,900 for? Mine has lower r0,562. I have imagined it being some sort of accuracy statement, but never really found out if it is percentage or something else?
r is radius or yaw rate, don't remember other uses for it at the moment.
In my own parts stash I've got one wing with indicator hole, and one wing without. If we ever meet up at some point, I'd be happy to swap the one withoutHell Driver wrote:That's a coincidence, I have a pair WITH the holes for the indicators....I was wanting to make a non indicator 76/77 replica so if you get them and fancy a swap let me know![]()
That'd be unusual. No one "forces" you to fit rear seat belts or a third rear brake light or daytime running lights, even if all these are required these days. Over here US cars need some conversions, like orange indicators rather than red ones, but I'd be surprised if the MOT man makes you fit indicators on the wings.Hell Driver wrote:(I know I'll probably have to mount some somewhere else for the MOT, I'm not entirely sure about it yet! Anyone know the exact date they are legally required?)
Tom, they are actually later wings. Volvo stopped distinguishing between the MkI (no hole) and II (holes) wings somewhere in the early eighties and send out a note with the dimensions and locations of the holes so that the panelbeater could drill them if needed. Saved them two locations in the warehouse....trabitom99 wrote:Here are the pics of those wings:
They are the earlier Mk1 version, without the holes for the indicators. I guess they could be drilled easily though, better than the other way around.
That is not a bad price, I personally ask more for a NOS wing, knowing how rare the are.trabitom99 wrote:trabitom99 wrote: He'd like 175 Euros plus postage.
I thought if you take any of these things out of a car which had them at a date on or after they were required by law then they would make you put them back in? For example if you took the seat belts out of a 1995 escort I'm sure you'd not get the MOT, but they can't make you put them in a 1969 escort. Then again how do the lads in the stripped out 300's get on with no rear belts? No seat..no need for a belt?trabitom99 wrote: That'd be unusual.
