Best appreciated when open.
I probably should have specified ladies legs in there too. [+=] "embarrarrased emoticon"[].com

looks good at the back, little wheel/tyre on the front means there quite a bit of arch gap. whats your plans?
It looks fresh though

Re: Derrick the Volvo! UBER PICS! (Some for Theo)
ha ha! cheers. short and to the point. It will be lower once the springs settle, around 1000 mile. Desperately need to get some matching wheels for the back!Kay San wrote:needs to go lower, will get pic of mine when i get the banded steels on
Cheers for the comments guys.

mine is the same, Banded steels on the front, any wider wheels on the rear, will fuck my gearbox up. keep it like that. its for the best and budget way.

Re: Derrick the Volvo! UBER PICS! (Some for Theo)
Just a minor update. Finally ordered all the bits that I need for the conversion, (crossmember, sump etc), and these turned up today!

ARB role-bar bushes, and some new adjustable shocks. I'll fit the shocks tomorrow, as they are in dire need of being replaced! The ARB bushes will go in once I do the engine swap. Also got the front pulley cover sprayed up

Cool mottled effect on the front, cant really see it in the pic, but it looks good. Just need to spray the rocker cover! Matt black with luminous multi-colour paint splatters.
Swap will hopefully occur next week!

Re: Derrick the Volvo!
In reply to your txt mate you will have to change the fuel lines. You need to buy 8mm internal diameter fuel injection hose. Buy a full 10m roll as you need around 9m. Cost you around £30.

Re: Derrick the Volvo!
cheers for that Ad! Its ok to run braided hose underneath the car? I'm just concerned about rusting on the hoses if they are outside the car, but also unsure about routing if inside the car, as I want to keep the interior. Going to go for the braided stuff, as I was intending on braided hose later anyway. Sorry to bug you with loads of questions, just want to get everything right!

Re: Derrick the Volvo!
Braided is fine but make sure you get the injection high pressure stuff. I ran braided on my grey car. You can run the lines through the same hole in the engine bay as the standard lines if you elongate it slightly. Then the lines will run inside the box section of the chassis.
