Hey guys, well I think i've sorted me out some wheels for the Volvo

I was originally looking out for your typical 13x7 type stuff but a mate of mine turned up today with a set of his winters on which I've wanted for a long time off him, I asked him if he wanted to sell em or not (usually he says no lol) but today he's said yes lol

They're 15x7 and have a tidy lip on them.
Anyway, i'm originally wanting to go 3" lower all round, I was just wanting to see who has lowered there 300 and by how much sitting on 15" wheels, just to get some sort of idea of how it will look.
Ta' dudes!

They all sit nicely dude, should look pretty darn cool an inch further!
Yer Ste I thought with 15's aswell they'll minimise my arch gap while keeping ground clearence sensible too plus like I say they have a nice lip
not sure what offset they are so we'll see how they sit wanna try getting it to sit flush

BRETTY BOI wrote:on that greenish 340, how did you smoke the back lights and did you have to change the colour of the bulbs etc?
pop the cluster, rub it down with fine wet and dry, 4 or 5 coats of tint. (let it dry in between).
re-fit and rock the roads.
Bulbs all remain standard.
(show through with correct colours.)
And pass mot no bother.
Bit of work, and not to everyones taste, but i like it.

Haha it's all good man, in fact tinting lights is something on my list for mine, although I think i'm going to go for the all red flavour like what Ad did with his white 16V that's for sale

Don't have any pictures to hand, but 15's can look good. It's all about offset really. Weak ass offset 15's are just going to look a bit gay, but ET30 or lower 15x7's and you will get away with it. If you are getting low low then you are going to have issues with front arch clearance. It's hard to get low enough in a 300

.
Please don't go bigger than 15's though, or I'll cry.
