I cannot find any reference to e21 fitment ,as far as I know its only the E30 series wheels that are 4x100, as you are so close cant you email the guy and ask to try one on the car ? If the stud pattern fits , once they are on check carefully for clearance at the back of the rim i.e. between tyre and suspension parts so there is no chance of fouling or rubbing I tried one set of bmw wheels on my 300 and because of the offset (distance between the centre hub and rim) they were no good( to close to front strut ) , A good ebayer will let you try them on

Like it says, will fit on any 4-stud BMW, so it has to be 4x100. The picture tells, offset is 18 (ET18). So they will stick out more than a Volvo rim, you have no problem on the inside. In return, depends on how wide the tyres are, they could rub on your fenders. As long as they are 175 or less, you should be OK.

I remember fitting 205 on ET25 rims once. In front, there was no problem, at the rear axle, it was very, very, close to the fender when the trunk was full.

The tyres on ebay seem to be 185, so compared to my experiment, you are 3 mm more on the safe side. As long as your car is not lowered, it should fit, but it is a very close fit !

All E21s were 4x100pcd, and all E30s bar the M3 were the same fitment. I think your mate was on about the offset on his E21 which IS unique to the E21 (18mm offset).

Some 15inch BBS BMW crossspokes from an E30 3 series with volvo badged centre caps of course would look very nice on a 300.

I've thought the same, but isn't the offset quite different?

Oops, yes Steve you are right, they have a lower offset 15..25 so will not fit a 300. There are many other 4x100pcd wheels that will fit from other cars though.
