should hopefully be loweing my volvo the weekend, its already got lanny shocks on the back got some 2" blocks sorted aswell just want some suggestions for the front and possibly pics of people doing there or what ever youve got, would be a big help

Best off buying springs off dai (classicswede) I have 250ftlb springs, -50mm which on a glt is -25mm as the glt is -25mm lower as standard

I bought new oil ones, so not orginal but oem, tbh they cant really control the springs very well. I notice pretty hard rebound but thats only on our bumpy back roads. On A roads I notice the harsh rebound occaisionally, gas would be better though!

Yeah the adjustables are better than standard (because they're new I expect).

Coilovers! You cant beat them. However we dont know what your intending to use the car for?

How much should I be paying for proper front springs?

It's also very soft, but I'm guessing Landy shocks would sort this?

Coilovers? Anything off the shelf of is that a Rally Design kit or similar used there?

Dai is the man to talk to about all your lowering needs. If you want to get more serious about your lowering like i have, and cant make it all in house, then Nev at DriftMoto is your man

This is mine with 3inch blocks, 8x13 with 195/45/13 tyres, still not low enough in my eyes, however im getting rid of these stupid little wheels soon so mine will be going up



The coilovers are custom made by gaz for nev at driftmoto, my understanding is he is the dealer and you have to buy through him. I've got land rover shocks on the back of mine, i've got the shocks that the landrover guys buy, to uprate there landrovers! and there still not stiff enough... but i do have 400lbs front springs :/ So if you've got softer front springs it might even it out a bit and make the back seem a bit stiffer, however i dont know. They are a dam sight better than standard, just not good enough for me

£550 ish for a pair of front coilovers, landrover shocks cost me £80 off egay

Are you sure nev is the only place you can get them from? john got his straight from gaz, and i think at about £200 less but he did have to wait

What landie shocks do you have tom? theres probs hundreds to choose from, I would guess stiffer ones for towing as these would be common but you need front shocks yes?
