Front suspension struts

Hello all, as some of you may know, I am restoring my little 340, I have taken my struts out, the passenger has had two bolts snap (the ones that hold the brake splash guard on. The drivers had a broken spring when I first started working on this car 11years ago, I replaced the whole strut but can not remember if this strut came from a 360 or a 340.
I have since learnt that the 340 and the 360 have a different camber.
So, is there a sure fire way of telling which one is which.
Does anyone have a good passenger strut and possibly a drivers side strut for the 340.
Thank you
Ben

Can you read the part numbers on the main tube? I think it faces outwards.

Is this on the main strut?
If so they are quite rusty, so I'll have to have a good close look

Both struts are orange sticker in your pics so should be the same

Hello, the 360 one should have a little extra bit on the side for holding the stabilizer bar...
... its the thing on the right of the strut just below the cup!

I don't think early 360's (pre mk3?) have the extra bit on.

Ok so if that's the case I am looking for a passenger strut to replace mine with. I will try and fail the holes out, and RE tap with the m7x1 OT next size and helicoil.
I was hoping to find one from someone who is replaces there's with coilovers

When doing coilovers they have to send the old struts back to me as the struts are converted to coilovers

Ok, and yours are 60 pounds?
Are they completely refurbished?
I may very well need to come to you for the inserts, do you recommend the gas or oil ones?
As side notes, I think I will need rear shocks.
And where can I get a caliper rebuild kit from?
Thank you Dia

The struts are fitted with cups and the bolt holes will all be working. Damaged spindles are not likely to be repairable so exchange units must have good spindles. If your cups are ok you could send me you strut and I can sort the sheared bolts out.
I have some caliper repair kits that include new pistons.
Gas dampers are better than oil filled normally. I do keep basic std ones as well as the adjustable.
