Ok people, I'm interested in getting some new wheels for my 360 GLT which is stripped, soon to be lowered and now has tinted windows, I'm going to paint them white anyway.

The question is, what do drifters use, also what type of alloys would look good in this use.

What other makes/ models bolt straight on etc?

vauxhall and some rover for a start ,

basically anything with a pcd of PCD - 4x100
then check offset and centre bore

stockwheel ET is 38. If you want nasty look use ET under 38..One of my friends has BMW wheel with ET 13 and slicktyres, and those are for racingtrack only. Those look nasty

Yeah be aware that if you go too wide and too lower offset on the wheels they're going to be out of the arches which will fail an MOT, depending on how low you go you could roll the arches (i've seen this done with a scaffold pole, baseball bat, etc which works surprisingly well!) My ideal wheel/arch combo would be something like 15s with a big dish and low offset, cut the arches back and then golf arches over the top

You need do quite a bit if you want to fit wide 15" wheels. I have 7J ET20 rims in 15" and they were grinding on the arches under braking.
My car is lowered on the front and it has maybe 4 cm's of suspension travel left. I had to cut away half of the inner wheelarch and the lip of the outer wheelarch to stop it from touching. My ideal would be some 13 or 14x7 wheels with an offset between ET0 and ET10, combined with some fender flares.

My wheels are 15x7 with a 30 offset, no rubbing and a much nicer stance

Or rip off your arches, buy hugely wide wheels and tires and put this kind of things..I guarantee there will not be any wheelrubbing

You cant get rid of the front arches completely without reinforcing the frame, so you're kind of limited to maximum diameter regardless of how wide your fenders are. I am a bit reluctant to cut the lower edge of the arches on the rear because that will only weaken the car further (if the inner and outer arches are connected to each other in a similar way to the front arches. Having said that I do love those insanely wide fenders...finding wheels to fill those will be a challenge though.

The dutch cup drivers often use opel manta wheels (vauxhall made that one too I think), and also older bmw wheels. VW golf stuff will fit just fine too...my ATS cup rims came from a Golf-II. Just keep these things in mind:

4x100 pcd
ET value between 25-35 will be perfect
14" is a nice size, 15 will fit though.
If you get wide wheels (7J and wider) you'll need to
stick to the lower offset range, otherwise the tyres might
scrub the strut.

From what I understand the drifters in the uk are using Mini wheels (BL not BMW) The 13" rims keep the car sitting low to the ground keeping the centre of gravitly low to the floor.

some vauxhall rims just look so right on the 300

All wheels will fit which has 4x100 PCD and offset/ET under 38..
