Hi,

i have a problem with my dashboard.

My fuel and temp gauges doesn't work.

I've check the fuse all of them are ok ( i think this is the 9) i've check the back of the fuse box no corrosion. I've check all the fuse get 12v ( but is that normal that 1-10 fuse are "inverted" i don't know the name for that).

I've also tried another dashboard same issues.

The light of the dashboard work same as the direction indicator, the handbrake signal,...

I think that the clock doesn't work too.

I've checkthis post

but i don't understand what he did at the end.

Thanks for your help and sorry for my english

Sounds like everything isn't working, propably a bad ground. Make sure the battery earth strap is well connected to the body beside the battery. Otherwise find the gnd points on the dash and check the resistance to the battery '-'.

You have 12v on the connector that goes in the back of the clocks?

Hi I had the same problem with my 340. If u were sat in the car take the clocks out and the left plug will have a red and black wire . Check if that has 12v when u turn the ignition on . If it doesent then you have a brake in the system somewere I cudent find it so asked a freind and I ended up soldering in my own 12v feed to the fuse box and it's spot on now . Home this helps

Fixed this problem on a friends DAF lorry this weekend, turned out to be a loose earth, might be worth checking all your earths?
