disconnect and remove the fuel rail -Help

Post by kelvingenders » 07 Feb 2011 01:09 pm

Does anyone have pictures of where I can disconnect the fuel rail from on a 360 GLT B200E. I had a look today and was unsure.I'm looking at replacing the injectors and O rings but don't want to snap/break any parts which will not be replaceable.

Remove the fuel pipes going to the rail/FPR, unbolt the rail and FPR, unclip the injectors harness and unbolt the grounds to them then just pull the entire rail/injector set up out of the inlet.

...
with a cold engine.
also padding round the injectors with kitchen roll will help soak up the 2oz of fuel that will spill from the rail.
