cvt belt adjustment.

Post by a.l.2810 » 01 May 2011 06:10 pm

I have just read the technical thread about the cvt, but when it gets to the part about belt adjustment it only tells you how to change the belts(starts of titled as belt adjustment.) Is there a method for checking correct belt tension? Haynes manual just tells you to leave it to the dealers.

all Haynes manual's should be binned :D

here: http://www.volvo300mania.com/forum-uk/v ... =39&t=3803 somewhere at 3/4 of the page there's the bit: Checking and adjusting the Secondary Unit pulley gap
should be enough info but if you still have questions while you're at it, feel free to ask
