hmm if you look hard enough you will find !!
buy the inlet first ,a new one is £100 ish or one like foggys in photo is £150ish and easy to get .you could scour ebay etc for a second hand one,but you may have to wait some time. then think about getting some cheap carbs.

all comes down to money - if you want a set this weekend [which is 100% possible] you would have to pay £250-£300.

I didnt realise you could buy them new, that's pretty good. So where do I look for this £100 manifold?

I'm in no rush, its gonna be at least 2 months before I can do anything as thats when my insurance policy runs out, and then I can swap over to someone who's a bit more willing to insure a mod'd car! Will have to keep my eye out for a cheap pair.

All sidedrafts that look like a DCOE have the same bolt pattern. Dellorto DHLAs are cheaper, and by reputation 'better', but I'd not trust the opinion of a scene which thinks a Ford Zetec is a performance engine!

You can get Solex ADDHEs for £20/pair if you know where to look...but they are a ball-ache to tune as parts are unavailable. Out with the drills!

Misab also do manifolds. www.misab.se IIRC. I think you're looking at £150 + shipping rather than £100, but I'd be please if I were wrong!

Ah yes, had just found that link and was having a look through.

Reading through some articles 45s would definately be better, but 40s should just cope if I dont go crazy with further tuning (which is unlikely), and are much cheaper!

So which one's are your bro's?

40 DCOE Webers in good condition, we use 45's on the rally car.
