Engine Tune 1.4 Catalyser

Post by RobT_75 » 11 Nov 2008 10:54 pm

I'm going to do a tune up on my recently purchased 340 catalyser. Reading the Haynes manual it states that the analyser probe needs to be put in the measuring point just above the cat. Can anyone tell me where this is - does it require the car to be jacked up for access beneath?

I would try and find the sealing plug tonight, but it's too dark outside at the moment to do this!

Can anyone offer any tips that might be useful when I carry out the tune? The manual also states you need to disconnect the cooling fan and wait for the thermostat to open before getting the reading, so I'm a bit dubious about getting all of this right

Cheers.
