Volvo OE K grind- Used in high output, high compression b23e engines in Europe and Canada 81-83. Peak torque point was pushed to 4500 rpm. I sometimes have these for sale- US$59 plus US$20 mailing.
Specs and some other stuff:

H is better, bit more expensive and harder to come by as it was used only few years and only in GT if I remember correctly.

But if you would like to some power, pick something from here  (prices in swedish currency, 1.00 SEK = 0.0846952 GBP so that is around 200 pounds from new hot cam, when used K ones are perhaps 100ish in UK/Europe?

Hi Jim!

If your 360 is from '88 then you definitely have the B200. The B19 was dropped in '85 AFAIK.

Cheers

That is true, B200E or B200F in Jimbean's car, depending from various things, typically I have seen B200F mostly with Cat and B200E mostly without Cat, but that is in Finland, I believe that different marketing areas had bit different combos with these.

E and F are with different engine management, which was which I can't really remember now.

We didn't get B200F's over here mate, 88 GLT will be a B200E. As it's a B200E what will you be doing about engine management Jimbean? Ali tried a different cam with LE-Jet and it didn't take to it too well.

Ali tried a V cam, slightly hotter than the A cam - and it ran fine, Chris - but it didn't make any more power. I can't imagine a K cam taking too well to the standard engine management though - it'll probably make less power than stock.

His 3 door with the cam, air filter, exhaust was an exact match for my stock GLT saloon along a motorway sliproad from 30-70

Exactly, cam will be mismatched to the map. LH swap would be interesting though!

will have to be megasuirt, perhaps if he tuned the cam to car he would made a increase

isnt the standard magement like semi mechanical as i have no rev limit?! i had a mk2 golf with total mechanical injection and that did have a rev limit k jet was the system.

Megasquirt will suit it well ;) Ali was only trying things out before he finally turbo'd and went with megasquirt.

LE is about the same level as K jet, but instead of the random mechincal injection (with the scary fuel dizzy ;)) it's done completely with passive electronics, RC values set the timings.

LE-Jet on the 360 is actually electronic injection, but bases it's fuelling on stored values of a stock engine.

Best thing to do is megasquirt, it'll make even the standard car drive a million times better and feel far more perky/responsive

Even the H cam is still quite tame. In a 2.1 tickover is still very nice with good low down pull.

I agree with Dai - anything less than a K, and you're not having fun! The transition 'onto cam' is far more pronounced and brutal in my factory spec S70 than in my 360 with a K cam.

cheers
