Also is the picture above for the starter motor solinoid?

yeah lad thats to the starter solenoid. As for the sender, must be a blockage somewhere, or its not actually picking up fuel. Or both. Theres fuel in it isnt there? If you get the gauge wires the wrong way round, the gauge'll read backwards.

ye i stuck £8 init last night, will have a go tonight swapping the fuel lines round (maybe me being a plumb and have it blowing bubbles into the tank haha)

Make sure your pickup is low enough! Are you getting anything through the fuel lines at all?

im using the standard ovlov pick up mate.

would there be an issue if i had got the fuel lines the wrong way, so say i had it sucking through the return would it not work?
