Push loud pedal and engine stalls?
You can actually use special file (from welder maintaince kit) to get hole slightly bigger, there is this one hole in jet and as I don't need to match it with others so closely I can do it by hand, really small amount should do it, less than 0.5mm, I do have spare one so If I mess up I can always return to stock version.
I heard this tip from someone that has done it to his car and works now really well, so worth a shot, imo. I can then share experiences here how car drinks 22l/100km and sputters more than ever, before you lot run to file your jets

Holy s***, I had no idea how much power there can be with solex, pulls clean from 1000rpm up, well actually even from below and damn thing accelerates fast with just bit of throttle, I'm using about 1/3 of throttle compared what was needed before. Stupid thing, if there is bit dirt at intersection flooring it is not possible as rears start to spin and rpm runs to limiter real quick.
I need to use so little throttle now when cruising that certainly it has to run with less fuel, have to hook up lambda power and meter to check what it shows when running, but I don't think that it is too much.
So what I did do?
Went to tool shop with spare carb, no they had nothing right size to replace screwdriver that broke, so went to car accessories and parts shop that I always use, nope they had no screwdriver that fits either but they did made one for me, also they had drills to that exact purpose so I picked 1.30mm drill.
After I got home I did take primary emulsion tube out (metal wire again priceless, bend tip so it grabs when you put it into tube center hole and lift out) then took jet out (same trick with metal wire, but you need small screwdriver or something to make it come out completely as it likes to stick to emulsion tube threads).
Then I took pliers and hold yet on place over my knee while I sit in car seat and drilled hole bigger, for a moment I was bit amused how drilling seemed to happen so quick that I did not notice even that but as I compared to other jet it surely was now bigger, just very marginally.
There was 120 marking jet on place that was 1.20mm. Secondary jet and emulsion tube are under that black plastic screw, those I did not touch at all.
Don't know about fuel consumption, but should be less. Also I'm thinking backing off mixtures screw a bit now as it won't be anywhere near to pass emissions and I think it have to use too much fuel without any gains at the moment, mixture screw is at maximum rich at the moment.
Power is perhaps bit less than with megasquirt, but not too much actually, well powerdyn would show real results, but I have no connectors for that at the moment in car and there are slight time issues already.
One problem there is, but I'm going to accept is as old car character, when I slow down via engine braking, from 2000rpm to around 1000 and after that I open throttle it responds quickly but then dies and kangaroo effect will start, but if I ease throttle it goes away and also if I apply throttle more gently that problem does not arise. Perhaps it is accelerator pump that does not react enough agressively or just tuning or perhaps just bad engine mounts.

I did drive today something around 60km, had driven before drilling of jet around 50km and now there is 130km on trip at 0 I did put 16l petrol in and that was 20€ I think I need to go to station in 20km or perhaps earlier, but it looks like it results around 20MPG that is almost exclusively on city with short highway sections (less than 10mins each and 2-3 accelerations to 80kph at intersections) so don't know if it is bad or not, K-cam causes increase in fuel consumption and it is not much more that is promised to injection model at city so could be now in correct range.
Will see that in two weeks if next weeks interview goes well as then need to drive 150km in a day for one week, that is 0.42c/km + paycheck so I really hope to get that job

Car runs really well now, only thing that worries me is that hammering sound from engine, klank seem to come 3-4 times in a second perhaps, maybe it is just old mechanical fuel pump that is still on place, but don't know it is quite loud and sounds like it would come inside of engine as it sounds like you would hit block with hammer just bit damped.
I think that I try to adjust leaning diaphragm as screw that restrict movement is now fully in, perhaps I get better economy if I open that a bit, haven't found anywhere instructions for adjusting that so it will be quite much of 'try and evaluate results, try again based to results'.
