I have not used 360 flywheel on mine. I used a smaller and light 215mm one(not deep, no renix etc) with uprated volvo 740\240 Sachs pressure plate. But I kept the stock 360 disk

Used ignition from a early b230a, it got an remote module and a timing senor inside the dizzy, super simple and reliable

Yup, that's the one...although yours appears to have some extra holes in it! :)

Just looking at the Engine mounting now. Looks like the turbo interferes with the bracket that mounts to the body, What's the normal solution? The others I've seen seem to have a custom mount. Is the solution just to lower the whole thing top and bottom, with new brackets on Engine and body, or does the turbo adapter plate lift it out of the way, or should I find a thinner engine mount?

Some people use an 'elbow' between the manifold and turbo, but I think that's an ugly solution.

Some build a custom tubular manifold (or use an aftermarket one).

I think the easiest thing to do is to build an upside-down version of the current mount bracket (the one on the body), then use a 740/940 hydraulic mount (as it would normally be used...in compression). You might well have to use a 7/940 bracket on the engine...or build a custom piece. The 360 bracket might locate the mount correctly...it's been a while since I've looked. I have a pic of that in action, tucked away somewhere.

I'm not sure which of the second two I'm going to go for yet. The last one is probably the most sensible option all-round, although a tubular manifold would help my power goals.

Brackets of this nature may well be the answer to the 360 engine mount availability problem. There is no shortage of mounts similar to the 7/940 ones...!

Well that could well be the best solution as I have 2 good 940 ones. I think an Engine mount is easier to fab than a manifold adaptor. I'll put it in without the turbo on the old one first then measure up for a new one. Hope there is enough space above the suspension crossmember.

I have a picture here somewhere of a suitable arrangement. I'd be happy to email it to you for reference if you'd like to PM me your email address.

Looks good, I had an idea it would be like that but useful to see the sides added for strength. I might try and use or adapt the 940 engine side bracket, but maybe it goes too low.
