Post by kylepiggy » 07 Mar 2011 11:52 am

hey guys bout to pick up my first 340 in few days 1989 1.7 gl 3 door in gold (mmm nice colourlol) but has 2 owners and has 30k minter. just wanted what peoples views were bout engine conversions am torn between f7p valver or a 440/480 turbo any help and advice would be great i no adam does all the conversion parts for the f7p/r. am leaning towards the f7p as i am guessing will get better mpg than the 440/480 turbo lump. any way fire away with your advice and must say been on few forums in my time and this does come across as the most helpful big pat on the back to all you guys lol

Naturally aspirated will always sound sweeter than turbo IMHO.

Don't think either is a 10 minute swap so you pays ya money..........
