Does anyone know top speeds and how fast you take the 4 speed fourteen hundred 340 before it catches fire or something bad happens to it?

tbh i doubt you'd ever get one to explode. i've had a 5speed to 115, i think the fastest 4speed we had was 100.

how far into the red is that? it seems to be screaming quite badly at 60 but without a rev counter i've no idea it could just be no sound proofing.

In my 1.4 4speed i hit 100 at exactly redline (5400rpm) doing 70 is just under 4k i think or around that, you can cruise at 80 ok (other than wind noise)
