speedograph air filters
we have had a lot of discussion here about icing of carbs with the k and n filters , but has anyone ever tried a speedograph filter , would be interesting to know if they cause the same problems heres a link

Anything that doesn't use a hot air feed pipe is going to cause it im pretty sure, iv got a universal cone filter attatched to the housing and it happened with that in the winter, warm enough to get away without a hot air feed in this weather but come the summer i'll have to make a hot air feed for it, only way to go is to get a more free flowing filter element or build a new hot air feed system for a different type of filter,

actually that setup will be fine because its ALWAYS sucking in hot air from the engine bay - there is no cold air intake..

I'm working on the basis that it is indeed shrouded by the semi-enclosed nature of the engine bay. We'll have to wait and see really...
