hi all just brought a 740 B230FT and want to fit it into my 360GLS. just wanting to know if I will run into any problems or will need to change, remove or modify any of the parts for it to fit as ill be doing it in a weekend and don't want to have any issues.

with the B230 I take it will need a electronic fuel pump
dose any one know if turbo stuff will clear the brake booster?

cant think of any thing else for now. so please fire away with ideas and suggestions. any thing you have been told about this conversion will be appreciated

cheers Malcolm

Have a browse through the technical forum bro you'll find everything you need. I'm doing it the hard way turboing a 200e. everyone else does the 230 swap.

A weekend sounds ambitious. I'm sure you can get the engine in, but getting it connected up is another issue.

The last guy did it in a record 2 weeks. There are lots of small issues and parts to change.

hmm 2 weeks. I hope I can do it in 1 weekend haha. ill strip the 740 my self during the previous weekend and swap over the distrubitor mounting points can take parts from my other 360 for that. also try make space in the good 360 for loom swapping. ill have my mates to help 2 of them work at local mechanic shops. one has done a full engine swap in 1hr15min on a ba falcon. then another who is a auto electrition so we should get on quite well.
